In 2016 an audit of Meldreth, Shepreth and Foxton stations was carried out by Railfuture East Anglia and many improvements were suggested.
We have repeated the audit in April 2020, and combined it with a survey of the local rail context and village connectivity. The result is the Local Rail Improvement Plan, the aim of which is to assist relevant rail, transport and highways decision-makers in viewing the overall picture of access to local rail travel in this corridor, in order identify areas for achievable improvement.
