The Result of the GCP Foxton Level Crossing Bypass and Travel Hub Consultation was presented to the GCP executive Board on 20th March.
The Board followed the recommendation and as such the GCP will not be pursuing the Bypass element of the scheme, but instead will progress to the next stage of the project in relation to the Park and Rail Rural Travel Hub.
The next stage for the project is to move to a public consultation on this element of the scheme which is proposed to take place at the end of the Summer (September). The project team will be preparing materials and evidence to present during the consultation and will publicise the consultation in the same way as previous GCP consultations.
