On 13th September, staff from Network Rail and representatives of the County Council, Parish Council and Community Rail Partnership visited Shepreth station to observe the behaviour of motorists and pedestrians around the newly renovated Shepreth Level Crossing from 7.15 until 8.45am.

A full report of the meeting can be downloaded here. It includes recommendations for changes to road marking and parking arrangements intended to improve safety.

We have been encouraged by Network Rail to call their 24 hour helpline on 03457 11 41 41 if we spot any dangerous behaviour by motorists or pedestrians around the crossing.
